Draw on the grid
Draw lines, shapes, rectangles and circles that snap to the 24-unit grid.
Click New icon to start from a blank board, or open an icon from the library to change it.

| Tool | Key | How to draw |
|---|---|---|
| Select | V | Click a shape to select it, drag it to move it, or drag its points. |
| Line | L | Click to place points. Press Enter or double-click to finish. |
| Shape | P | Like Line, but the shape closes on Enter, and it fills in Solid. |
| Rect | R | Drag from one corner to the other. |
| Circle | C | Drag out from the center. |
Press Esc to drop a shape you’re halfway through.
Snap and keylines
- Snap sets how points snap: to whole units, half units (the default), quarter units, or off.
- Keylines shows the guides: the 20 × 20 live area, a circle, and upright and wide rectangles. Shapes that sit on the same keylines look the same size across your icons.
- Show picks which style the board draws in. It doesn’t change the icon itself.
The cursor position, in grid units, shows in the bar under the board.
Keep shapes inside the live area (2 units in from each edge) so strokes don’t clip in the bolder styles.
